Margot Robbie Characteristics

This year is shaping up to be Margot Robbie's best one yet - and that's saying a lot, considering the 26-year-old actress already has films like

, she's also the face of Calvin Klein's fragrance, Deep Euphoria. 'It's genuinely the one I wear, ' she said, of the modern scent.

Robbie's perfume I.Q. has risen significantly since she was gifted her first fragrance as a kid: 'I remember it said Eau de Toilette and I thought my mum had given me toilet spray and I was like, why did she do that?', she recalled.

There's Peter Thomas Roth complexion correction pads, because I'm on a plane every five seconds, and I can't wash my face. I hate that feeling, but then I use these pads and my face feels really good.

Also, Caudalie facial mist—it's the nicest smell. And then my lip balm, I use Bepanthen, which is actually a nipple cream for breastfeeding mothers or diaper rash cream for babies. I have a conspiracy theory that lip balms actually have additives in them to dry your lips out so you keep buying them. But because Bepanthen is just a cream for dry skin, it works. It's what I've used my whole life.

My friend taught me this trick that I use it every day. When I put on foundation, I use an eyebrow brush or toothbrush to brush it into my hairline so that it all blends. Especially because I have blonde hair but tanned skin, if I don't blend it, it looks gross - you can see the foundation in my hair.

I do that every single day, and every time my husband [Tom Ackerley] is like, What are you doing? And I'm like, I'm brushing my make-up into my hairline! And he's like, Girls are crazy.

For photoshoots, I don't even worry anymore because with photoshop these days if I wake up with a massive pimple I'm like, they're gonna airbrush it out, it doesn't matter. I get more scared when I'm filming.

If I eat or drink heaps of dairy, my skin breaks out. I love dairy and I have it all the time but if I'm filming or if my skin is really shit, then I try to cut down and just drink lots of water. But I pretend cheese isn't dairy because I will never accept that I can't have it. I love it.

This is such a good question! Let me check my phone...Last thing I Googled was a map of Hungary. I'm working in Budapest and I was trying to figure out what the bordering countries were and if I could do any weekend trips. I was very happy to see Croatia was so close by, because I had the best time of my life there.

Cheese, cheese, cheese. Or a burger. I adore burgers. Probably it would be the truffle burger from Umami and a really nice IPA, like a german wheat beer.

My version of exercising is going to do a dance class you go with a friend its really fun and it's exercise at the same time.

Jay Hernandez, who plays Diablo in Suicide Squad. Out of everyone I've ever worked with he is the funniest f*cking guy in the whole world. He just does dad jokes the whole time but I am like his key audience.

I just like pee myself laughing. He doesn't do comedy and his character is really serious so no one knows how funny he is. I'm like, you should do SNL!

When I was little I wanted to own hotels. I'm certain I would have started some sort of company [if I hadn't gone into acting] because I think I am quite business-savvy. So either owning hotels, or being a scuba diving instructor or sky-diving instructor. Some sort of instructor where I could live somewhere cool and do something fun every day.

What’s lesser known is that skin health experts can be called upon to help actors achieve their best skin for roles – naturally a priority for anyone playing a living Barbie doll.

The Suicide Squad': Margot Robbie Talks Harley Quinn's Chaos

Cast. Working closely with the film’s make-up artist Ivana Primorac, Vico helped achieved the skin results for the movie’s desired look which was, essentially, perfection. From Margot Robbie to America Ferrera, Emma Mackey and Hari Nef, she treated the Barbies to her bespoke skin and wellbeing treatments throughout filming around one-to-two times a week. For Robbie, this meant a combination of her signature Vico Glow Laser, LED therapy, lymphatic drainage, cold laser, pressure point massage and her expert ‘gut x skin protocol' – so Vico tells us. Clearly, “Margot is very disciplined”.

Between appointments, Robbie was taking probiotics and other anti-inflammatory supplements, Vico explains from her clinic in Fitzrovia. These included the expert’s own Vico Skin 3-6-9 Supplements trilogy: Phyto Energy, Skin Frequency and Gut Vibration. “Margot was also eating fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, and kefir, all kinds of bitter foods, and berries.” It’s all to do with “promoting the healing and reducing the stress in the body, ” she explains, which is also why she had Robbie drinking organic milk thistle tea. “It helps with flushing the liver which makes the skin better because it produces more glutathione which helps with luminosity and brightness, ” she explains. “They [the Barbies] were all having that tea.”

It's this inside-out approach to skincare – and the lifestyle it promotes – that stands Vico’s treatments apart. “It didn’t make any sense for me just to treat the skin! Skin is connected to your body; you’ve got to include the diet and lifestyle.” Not that the stars objected. “Most of them were never really aware of the gut-skin axis. Most of the time when they have a skin treatment it would just be for their face and that would be it.” But this was no ‘red carpet treatment’.

Indeed, another focus beyond bolstering the Barbies’ gut heath was counteracting their stress. Vico had them doing “meditation and breathing; The Wim Hof Method” (which combines breath work and cold therapy), and during treatments she placed a device called Sensate on the actors' chests, which uses sonic resonance to calm the body's nervous system.

Robbie has remained a client of Vico’s “coming even after the filming when she’s here in London”. “It’s kind of a lifestyle, ” the expert feels, noting that there’s no quick fix when it comes to achieving complexion perfection. “We always want a magic wand, but good skin is a journey. They’re not living dolls – and nobody is. You’ve got to do the work! You’ve got to be disciplined and do the work to bring you closer to that level.”
