Margot Robbie Eye Colour

Margot Robbie has been pulling plenty of mane moves this year, alternately donning rainbow wigs as a surprisingly good disguise at Glastonbury and completely transforming herself with short, curly red hair (to play Queen Elizabeth I in her upcoming movie

). But, lest you've forgotten, Margot is also a pro at debuting unexpected makeup looks — just see the mismatched eyeshadow she rocked as Harley Quinn in

For proof. And just today, she showed up on our Instagram feeds with a head-turning hue brushed all over her eyelids. You wouldn't think that mustard yellow would be the easiest color to pull off, but Margot did it like a pro.

We Know The Exact Eyeshadow Margot Robbie Was Wearing On The Red Carpet

The look was created by celeb makeup artist Pati Dubroff, who dubbed the neon hue mellow yellow in her Instagram caption. While mellow might not be the first word that comes to mind when we're faced with a pan of eye-searing yellow, Pati showed how the shade could be transformed into a flattering lid wash. She kept the color from overwhelming Margot's complexion by concentrating the shade at the lashline, then blending it out to a hazy finish as she got closer to the crease and browbone. A super thin swipe of black liner and fluttery, mascara-coated lashes completed the look. She kept Margo's lips and cheeks clean, creating a healthy flush on her lips and cheeks with muted shades of pink. If there ever was a look that inspired us to search our makeup bags for the sunny shade, this would be it. And if — for whatever reason — you can't get enough of the color, feel free to dial it up even further with some bright yellow blush.

I actually don't know if I even owned a Barbie. Margot Robbie may have not been obsessed with the dolls as a child, but there was one thing that she was extremely keen on: the Barbie Dreamhouse. From constructing her fold-out house as a 5-year-old to seeing a life-size version come to life right before her eyes, Margot Robbie truly manifested her Barbie dreams. Margot breaks down her entire process for the 'Barbie' movie, from the mental preparation for the role, working alongside Greta Gerwig and Ryan Gosling on set, the fabulous pink wardrobe and so much more.

SAG-AFTRA members are currently on strike; as part of the strike, union actors are not promoting their film and TV projects. This video was conducted prior to the strike. There are all sorts of methods for coming up with your eye makeup shade. The most old-school is matching it to your eye color (which might explain why I have so many purple shadows and liners--it's the very color the Sephora makeup artists always push on me and my hazel eyes). More recently, we've seen everything from matching it to your nail polish to pairing it with your dress (hey Miley).

Why Margot Robbie's Summer Hair And Makeup Look So Good

But if you're looking for something a little less predictable and a little more surprising, take a page from Margot Robbie: The actress, who you can see on the big screen as Leo's GF in The Wolf of Wall Street, arrived at the premiere with her eye makeup matching her earrings (her insanely cool earrings, at that). It's not that revolutionary of a concept, but the results are subtly cool--whether you're rocking a pair of gold hoops or turquoise studs, the key is to just pull out the main color and match it to your shadows.

While everyone else is freaking out about Naked 3, if you don't yet own Naked 2 here's your reason to grab it: It has the perfect shades for making a bronze-tinged silver smokey eye. Use the darkest color to line your lid (either Pistol or Busted is a good option, depending on how dramatic you want to go with your silver), with a bronze-y shimmer along the browbone (try Half Baked or Chopper) as a highlighter.

If you're going to spend all that money on an eye palette, you want to use it, right? That's why you should take that bronze hue you used as a highlighter and apply that along your cheeks as your blush. Genius, right?!
