It is based on Jordan Belfort’s 2007 memoir of the same name. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Belfort, a renowned stockbroker, in his fifth collaboration with Scorsese. Margot Robbie, who played the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2013 film, revealed that the s*x scene with DiCaprio was in the book but not the script.

“I kind of provoked Leo into doing it, and I can’t believe he did. I said if he was committed to the role, then he would do it properly.”
